He began his drafting career with Wagner Electric. He then went on to work with Quality Heating from 1967 to 1980. SMCI’s family business has always been about high integrity and treating people they way you would want to be treated, like family! When the doors opened in 1980, SMCI was mainly a commercial contractor in every aspect of their operations. When family members requested new home systems or were in need of servicing, SMCI was there for them. This has been our residential story for many years as the commercial and industrial work kept us hoppin’!!! Family requests shortly grew into friend’s requests and has slowly built over time. We treated them like family also!! We have now decided to give the family treatment to everyone!!! We have now opened our doors to the public as HOME by SMCI so everyone can experience the “HOME” treatment.
