What is a SEER Rating?
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and was defined by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute. The SEER rating of a unit is the cooling output of the system during a typical cooling season divided by the total electric energy used in that same period.
What does inverter comfort really mean?
An inverter is energy saving technology that eliminates wasted operation in air conditioners by efficiently controlling motor speed. In inverter type heat pumps, temperature is adjusted by changing motor speed without turning the motor ON and OFF. This can result in a 30% savings in energy.
Inverter technology helps to prevent the temperature swings that most homeowners recognize with a non-inverter HVAC system. A consistent comfort level is easily achieved with a Daikin inverter system.
Homeowners also enjoy the new level of acoustical comfort both indoors and out. The energy conserving speed allows the inverter system to operate at much lower sound levels.
